Frequently asked questions

Straight answers on certification, performance, care, and Canadian ordering — for procurement, safety, and sport & outdoor buyers. Expandable sections work without JavaScript.

01Is G-Heat certified for workplace use?+
G-Heat’s heated safety glove is PPE-certified (EN388) — the first certified heated safety glove of its kind in France. Other apparel items are positioned as thermal performance workwear and sport gear. We’ll be explicit about which SKUs carry protective certification versus comfort/performance claims for your EHS review.
02How well does the heating line perform in Canadian winters?+
The heated line uses multi-zone heating designed for cold outdoor exposure — worksites, winter sport, and wind chill. Exact comfort depends on ambient temperature, wind, layering, and activity. We help you match zones and garments to typical Western Canada conditions rather than promising a one-number rating.
03How fast does the cooling line actually cool?+
G-Heat’s 4th-generation cooling tech is designed to lower skin temperature by up to 15°C in about 15 seconds after activation (soak, wring, wear). Results vary with humidity, airflow, and exertion — which is why we recommend trials for high-heat roles and summer endurance use.
04What about battery life on heated products?+
Runtime depends on the product, heat setting, and ambient conditions. Higher settings and colder ambient temps draw more power. We’ll share SKU-level runtime guidance for the pieces you’re evaluating and help plan charging for shift or trip length.
05Can G-Heat garments be washed?+
Care varies by product. Cooling textiles are generally washable per label; heated items often require specific battery removal and wash instructions. We provide care guidance with every quote so laundry and shared-use programs stay within manufacturer limits.
06What warranty coverage do you offer in Canada?+
Warranty terms follow G-Heat’s manufacturer policy for the specific product line. As the Western Canada & USA channel, we help you register claims and replace defective units within those terms — details are confirmed on quote.
07How does sizing work for teams and individuals?+
Most apparel is offered in standard size runs (and unisex where noted). For worksite orders we build a simple size matrix from your roster. For sport buyers we recommend measuring against the size chart before you order — ask us if you’re between sizes.
08Do you ship across Canada?+
Yes. We support buyers across Canada with a distribution footprint that includes Quebec logistics support and Western Canada sales coverage. Lead times depend on SKU availability and order size — we’ll confirm shipping timelines on your quote.
09Can we place bulk or worksite orders?+
Yes. Industrial buyers can request volume pricing, staged deliveries, and mixed heating/cooling assortments by role (e.g. yard vs. indoor cold storage). Start with a worksite inquiry and include headcount, season, and province.
10Is this a good fit for sport and outdoor use as well as work?+
Yes. The same heating and cooling technologies serve both markets: procurement and safety teams buy for protection and productivity; individuals buy for ski, snowmobile, riding, running, hunting, and hiking performance. Tell us your market on the contact form so we send the right catalog path.
11Are the products white-labelled generics?+
No. G-Heat develops heating filament and cooling technology in-house with French R&D and certification pipelines — including hospital research collaboration on Raynaud’s behind the heated line.
12How do I get Canadian pricing?+
Use the contact form at /gheat/contact and choose worksite or sport/outdoor. We’ll follow up with Canadian pricing, availability, and product recommendations for your segment or activity.
